[0]jmcada writes "[1]Chicago.pm is proud to announce that [2]registration
is open for Yet Another Perl Conference North America (YAPC::NA) 2006.
The primary conference will occur June 26th through 28th at the Illinois
Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. The conference will feature
speakers from throughout the Perl community, as well as, keynote
addresses from luminaries such as Larry Wall, the creator of Perl, and
guest speakers from the broader dynamic languages and open source
communities. The full three-day conference costs only $100, but early
registrants can take advantage of a 15% discount and attend the
conference for only $85. With such a low cost, YAPC is one of the most
affordable and accessible technical conferences available today.

The [0]San Francisco Perl Mongers meeting on Tuesday March 28th, 2006,
will feature three speakers as a follow up to the previous month's
meeting on Perl integrated development environments.
While I recently started following the [1]development of the PPI
refactoring editor, for this meeting I'll be presenting 30 minutes worth
of Vim goodness featuring integration with PerlTidy and the Perl
debugger. And also some other fun features that can make your life as a
Perl developer more productive when you use Vim.
Please check the [2]SFPUG Blog for details. Hope to see you there!

official dates for [1]YAPC::EU::Birmingham. The conference will be held
from Wednesday 30th August to Friday 1st September 2006. In the UK this
follows the bank holiday weekend, and is the calm before the storm when
all the students return during September. "
