| A new CPAN Testers Domain                                          |

I'm not quite sure why no-one has ever thought of it before, but the
other week I had the strange urge to see what website a particular domain
resolved to. It didn't resolve to anything and I was quite surprised to
find it available and not being used for other dubious purposes, so I set
about registering the domain. It seemed an obvious domain to use for the
collection of CPAN Testers websites, so having sent out a few emails last
week, I have set up DNS entries for the existing websites, just to make
life a little easier for everyone to remember them all. The original
domains are not changing, so you can still use those, but if you ever
find yourself talking to someone about CPAN Testers and finding it
difficult to remember the right URL, the new sub-domains might make it a
little easier to remember them.

So, with limited fanfare and bunting, I give you:
  * [0]www.cpantesters.org - CPAN Testers Reports
  * [1]wiki.cpantesters.org - CPAN Testers Wiki
  * [2]stats.cpantesters.org - CPAN Testers Statistics
  * [3]deps.cpantesters.org - CPAN Dependencies
  * [4]matrix.cpantesters.org - CPAN Testers Matrix
  * [5]pass.cpantesters.org - CPAN Testers PASS Matrix

In addition you can also send mail to [email protected], which will
be routed through to [email protected]. All other mail to
that domain will be routed through to my personal address, and will be
subject to my very aggressive mail filters ;) If there are other mail
redirections worth adding, please let me know.

Hugo Salgado translated [0]"brian's Guide to Solving Any Perl Problem"
into [1]a spanish version.

Also, Renée Bäcker tells me that Hilko Bengen finished [2]the german
version.

Now, since YAPC is in Copenhagen, someone needs to make a Danish version.

| cygwin perl-5.10.0-5 released                                      |

[0]rurban writes "cygwin perl has been updated to 5.10.0-5.
Installable via [1]http://cygwin.com/setup.exe

Important Changes since the last perl-5.10.0-4:
— fixed serious Win32CORE issue with 5.10.0-4. This was
statically linked, but never initialized at run-time.
— fixed failing .dll linkage in ExtUtils::LibUtils::Kid.
Broke gtk2-perl
— softlink all /usr/bin longver scripts to versionless links
— added Term::ReadKey (lost with 5.10.0-4)
— based on 5.10.x patchlevel 34065. This was easier than
cherry picking the most important patches since the
official 5.10 release.perl-5.10.0 cygwin notes:
—
This release is binary incompatible with the old 5.8 releases,
but compatible to all 5.10.x releases. That's why we named the mainperl
DLL /bin/cygperl5_10.dll and not cygperl5_10_0.dll.
