Well, I've seen a promise of it in one of your books. :-) Perhaps it doesn't count as official docs, but the 2nd edition of the Camel by Larry Wall, Tom Christiansen and _Randal L. Schwartz_ states in the "Ideographic Unary Operators" section on page 80: "Unary ! performs logical negation, that is, "not". See also not for a lower precedence version of this.
