That's been one reason for me too, but mostly it's lack of time.  Someone told
me once that having a baby creates a powerful vacuum for free time, but I
underestimated how powerful the vacuum is.  Occasionally, I check out the
minigolf and try to get at least a working solution, but I usually end up
giving up when it still doesn't work after ten minutes of dutiful hacking. :-)

I'll second that.  If it's a fairly big event that brings everyone together in
competition every month or two, the challenge may be impetus enough for me to
overcome my impatience.  But I think I got overwhelmed, and just need to work
my way back slowly.
