Hi What general rules do people use when users try (or want) to encode special chars in form data? Use JS to exclude them, or... URLS of such chars: http://webdesign.about.com/od/forms/a/url_encoding.htm https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/encodeURI TIA -- Ron Savage http://savage.net.au/ Ph: 0421 920 622 ##### CGI::Application community mailing list ################ ## ## ## To unsubscribe, or change your message delivery options, ## ## visit: http://www.erlbaum.net/mailman/listinfo/cgiapp ## ## ## ## Web archive: http://www.erlbaum.net/pipermail/cgiapp/ ## ## Wiki: http://cgiapp.erlbaum.net/ ## ## ## ################################################################
