I've worked mostly with Class::MethodMaker prior to V2.0 so I cannot help you much on this problem. However, I think you should consider the alternatives (depending on your needs): - stick with Class::MethodMaker < v2.00, which worked quite well in my experience. - Use Class::MakeMethods [1] - Use Class::IntrospectionMethods [2] (the introspection feature is optional, so it can be used as a low-fat Class::MethodMaker) I insist on the fact that you must carefully consider your requirements before choosing a module as all these modules have their pros and cons.
