It is important to get the spelling and grammar right in code comments and documentation. It implies a lack of quality when spelling mistakes or grammar errors are present. I am glad that someone is taking the time to go through this code base and deal with this.

'DEFERABILITY' => 'DEFERRABILITY' (not in common use yet?) perhaps simply deferrable would be better.
'implementors' => 'implementers'
'thru' => 'through'
'piggback' => 'piggyback'
'scaleable' => 'scalable'

Yes, good fix.

Omitting

ip-addresses

Probably an attempt at "won't" but better stated as "will not".
