Create a nice DSN Provider and/or a suitable configuration file. No, due to updates on the mariadb packages on my laptop, DBD::mysql refused to work. A forced re-install of the DBD fixed the mysql troubles Why does that never happen with DBD::Pg and DBD::Oracle?
