I don't have a working Makefile, but for sybperl/DBD::Sybase the only difference when building in 64bit mode is: Add -DSYB_LP64 to CPPFLAGS or CFLAGS Change any -l(sybase library) to -l(sybase library)64 There may be a flag that you need to pass to the C compiler to generate 64bit code.
