Simple: HTML::Template is fine for small templates, but its syntax is  
far too verbose, and as I'm using TT2 in other places, I felt as re- 
using its syntax here as well, hence the filter.


The other thing now is that I had forgot how debugging errors in HT  
templates was painful.
