LWP::UserAgent ( Crypt::SSLeay module) and existing TCP connection

Hi,
I would like to know how to interface a pre-existing
TCP connection to a SSL secured server using
LWP::UserAgent (Crypt::SSLeay) module. Basically, I am
creating a socket in a multihomed system and binding
the socket to one of its IP addresses and then trying
to perform TCP Connection on port 443. Once the TCP
connection becomes successful I would like to invoke
the LWP::UserAgent module functions (Crypt::SSLeay) to
perform a https:GET through this TCP connection.
Please advice.
