And just to be explicit, the maintainer I mailed was the FreeBSD LWP =
port maintainer, the lack of response is why I'm branching out to this =
list now.

And that's exactly why I'm really glad I branched out.  Given the =
variances that depended on which version of FreeBSD, I expected the =
problem might be specific to there.  I'm quite shocked you replicated on =
Ubuntu, but thank you very much for verifying it on your end.  That at =
least makes me feel better in a commiseration kind of way.


Next up: Um, huh?  Where to go from here?
