ascii table, special charaters

I'm currently developing an automatic mail-reply system for a Norwegian
company, and I have a small problem.
In the Norwegian alphabet we got 3 extra letters not supported by
mailbox.

Have someone had a similar problem and a solution? If there's no
solution I might have to scrap the mailbox module and return to
developing reading and sending the hard way (attachments included) :-S
