PDF::api2 & Compress

In another message I mentioned how my test wasnt working on the linux 
box. Well I didnt notice as the screen scrolled up, but it appears that 
the Compress module is not installed properly. Can someone point me to 
the write version of this module for pdf:api2 for linux?
