Paragraph works only some of the time in a doc

Hello,
This is a really weird error...

Computer 1: my perl script works fine... Generates PDF document just the way
I want it.

Computer 2: moved everything over... PDF generates but on 2nd page of doc
all of the paragraph text calls do not show up.  "text" calls for short
strings and other items do show up fine.  Paragragh calls on other pages
work fine.

Any idea why paragraph would work on some pages and not others????
