Versioning Issue

I am having issues on a server, the exact script works on another ser the only real difference I can see is

the working server is 5.8.5
the other servers running 5.8.8

and I beilve the not working server is also running a newer version of API2

we are getting a font error, how ever all the fonts are there and pointing to the same place...

any ideas
