No but the viewer must have the ttfont on his machine.
PDF::API2 creates PDFs, version 1.4. In 1.4, the corefonts are not
embedded in the document. This was changed in latter versions but I'm
not sure which was the first. In 1.4, the corefonts are in the viewing
application and should always work.
Can you check to see if your users have the ttfont on their machines?
