decode selected trouble

Dear Petal List,

I've got this in my template:

<option petal:repeat="o options" 
        petal:attributes="value string:${o/id}; selected decode: o/selected 1 'selected'">

And I am getting selected="0" for the options.

Am I doing something wrong?
