Hi, Sometimes I wonder about the future of our beloved Template::Toolkit. The current version (git repo Template2) is 2.26 and almost 3 years old. While this version is robust, the documentation and web site contain outdated information. For example, it mentions a Python implementation but none of the links work. From the git repository it looks like 2.27 was released on 13th December 2016 but, if so, this release did not hit the CPAN. We know that a rewrite, Template-TT3, is going on, but we also know it won't arrive anytime soon, if at all. It seems to have stalled on February 8, 2012. Not a big deal as long as TT2 is functional and stable. There's also a rewrite, Template-TT2, to prepare for the switch to Template-TT3. However this rewrite stalled on February 10, 2012. So as far as I can judge TT2 is still the way to go. So, what happened to 2.27? What happened to the python implementation? -- Johan
