Sorry, I can't reproduce this on Linux with Perl 5.32.1 and latest PAR (1.018) and PAR::Packer (1.057).

BTW the bug tracker for PAR::Packer is now on GitHub (just follow the link "preferred bug tracker" on the top of this rt.cpan.org page).
