On second thought I don't know of any VAX binaries built from that kit.

There will be a directory, either [ext.Time.HiRes] or [.ext.Time- 
HiRes], that you can simply remove (or replace with a newer version of  
the module from CPAN).  The relevant tests would be under that  
directory so if you remove the whole directory they wouldn't run.
