I've built this release candidate on recent Itanium (v.8.3-1H1) and
not-so-recent Alpha (7.3-2). The only test that fails consistently
is:
[-.lib.Module.Build.t]debug.t
which was a late addition. The fix involved only a minor tweak to the
test script but didn't get done in time to make it into the release
candidate.
The range of problems that can still be addressed before final release
is narrow, but if you find any show-stoppers, broken builds, etc., do
tell.

Once it's hit the mirrors it should be(*) available as
