Releasing widget collections

I have a collection of a number of widgets that I've put together for my 
own use, and I'm wondering
on the best way of releasing them. So I'm asking for various opinions 
regarding released bundles.  I could release them through CPAN and see 
that as ideal, but I could also put the bundle on sourceforge or some 
other repository.
I see this as a way of making minor updates more frequently that what I 
might do to CPAN. Any thoughts?
