I grepped for canvasx in the whole source tree, but
couldn't find it. Weird.

Thanks. I had tried something of this sort, but it
doesn't seem to take into account any scaling in the
canvas. I haven't had time to investigate, but I'm
sure it's a small fix from here to get what I want.
