I did a project takeover a week ago myself, and, looking now at the list
of pending projects now I see its approved but needs 2 to 3 weeks to wait:

(I don't know how to link to this properly)

<quote>

*Projects Registrations in Processing Queue*

      A status indicating that a project is an 'APT' means that the
      project request has been flagged as an Abandoned Project Takeover.
      As stated during the registration process, these take 2 to 3 weeks
      to be fully processed.

      Project Created on Business days in queue Status
      perl/Tk GUI (perltk) 	2006-10-20 12:06 	5 	APT Approved by SF.net

I was planning to announce it when it will be ready and include all
developers without any delay,

Moreover, when this project will be created, I can just transfer
ownership to you.

Vadim.
