Thanks for the help.

Here is what the installation process shows:

What happens when you run
             <your-path-to-perl>/perl -MProc::ProcessTable -e 1
Does this module load OK?
Proc::ProcessTable has some compiled parts in it, are you
sure its entire build process
             perl Makefile.PL
             make
             make test
             make install
was OK?

HTH,

Marek

Subject: Errors when doing 'use Tk::ExecuteCommand'

I get the following error when my script starts up:

Proc::ProcessTable missing, can't kill sub-children. at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/aix/Proc/Killfam.pm line 19.
 at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/aix/Proc/Killfam.pm line 19

/aix/Proc/Killfam.pm line 21
        eval {...} called at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8
/aix/Proc/Killfam.pm line 21

The start of my script is:

   #!/usr/bin/perl
   use Tk;
   use Tk::ExecuteCommand;
   use Proc::ProcessTable;
   use Tk::MiniCalendar;
   use Tk::LabFrame;
   use Tk::FBox;
   use Tk::LabEntry;

I am running on AIX 5.3 using perl version 5.8.8. I added the following
modules with no errors reported:

Proc-ProcessTable-0.41
Tk-ExecuteCommand-1.6

I seem to be able to ignore the error and continue to run the script.
But
I would like to not have these errors show up.

Anybody know what is happening?
