Thanks for the help.
Here is what the installation process shows:
perl Makefile.PL
/home/b06reg/sources/Tk-ExecuteCommand-1.6 does not start with
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/aix
i.e. building outside Tk itself
Checking if your kit is complete...
Looks good
Writing Makefile for Tk::ExecuteCommand
bash-2.04# make
cp ExecuteCommand.pm blib/lib/Tk/ExecuteCommand.pm
cp Killfam.pm blib/lib/Tk/../Proc/Killfam.pm
Manifying blib/man3/Tk::ExecuteCommand.3
Manifying blib/man3/Tk::Killfam.3
bash-2.04# make install
Writing /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8
/aix/auto/Tk/ExecuteCommand/.packlist
Appending installation info to /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8/aix/perllocal.pod
Here is what I get when I run the short perl command you listed:

What happens when you run
<your-path-to-perl>/perl -MProc::ProcessTable -e 1
Does this module load OK?
Proc::ProcessTable has some compiled parts in it, are you
sure its entire build process
perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install
was OK?

Subject: Errors when doing 'use Tk::ExecuteCommand'
I get the following error when my script starts up:
Proc::ProcessTable missing, can't kill sub-children. at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/aix/Proc/Killfam.pm line 19.
at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/aix/Proc/Killfam.pm line 19

The start of my script is:
#!/usr/bin/perl
use Tk;
use Tk::ExecuteCommand;
use Proc::ProcessTable;
use Tk::MiniCalendar;
use Tk::LabFrame;
use Tk::FBox;
use Tk::LabEntry;
I am running on AIX 5.3 using perl version 5.8.8. I added the following
modules with no errors reported:
Proc-ProcessTable-0.41
Tk-ExecuteCommand-1.6
I seem to be able to ignore the error and continue to run the script.
But
I would like to not have these errors show up.
Anybody know what is happening?
