If you are going to do this, to be frank one of the things that I really like about Github is their very good SVN support. DVCS vs standard VCS is not something I think has a single right choice. There are some advantages of both. But one advantage of SVN support which is usually missed in such discussions is that svn gives you a pretty good deployment tool for people who may be tracking specific features or branches.
