You want Wx::StaticBitmap, like this:

     my $bmp = Wx::Bitmap->new("path/to/bitmap.png", wxBITMAP_TYPE_PNG) ;
     my $sbm = Wx::StaticBitmap->new($parent, wxID_ANY, $bmp, 
wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, );
     $sizer->Add($sbm, 0, 0, 0);
