Hi,

I need to revert the change introduced for bug 102269 to be able to do

	perl Makefile.PL --disable-stc

for a build with wxgtk 2.8.x, which does not install STC by default. In
fact, the help for Makefile.PL indicates that option, but does not
accept any --enable/--disable-something unless I restore the
passthrough.

So, I guess just disabling pass_through is not the right thing to do.
