In fact I think the format should be all the above, but contribution and 
the working document should be the wiki, because it is there now and we 
can use it.  It is for a later job to work out how to publish in 
different formats.

In answer to James' question about who takes the lead on the book, I 
nominate Ron because he suggested it.  I would like to suggest that we 
all contribute, but that Ron chooses a core team to work on it. There 
seem to be plenty of enthusiastic volunteers!

I am going to start cutting and pasting where I can.
