That wasn't my impression when I worked with XSLT. Using XSLT I was able to 
produce XML-to-XML-processing code faster than I could using Perl. And gvim 
provides good syntax highlighting so not everything looks the same. I won't 
address your complaints against XSLT here, just note that you're exaggerating 
and missing the point.
