LibXML/LibXSLT maintenance status

Hi All, 

The svn repository for LibXML/LibXSLT appears to be down (and
has been for at least the last week). 

The last release of LibXML was 2009
and the bugs have been stacking up on CPAN since then. Petr's contributions
to this list seem to have dried up mid-2010. 

Given LibXML/LibXSLT are
central to the Perl XML ecosystem it'd be good to at least have the
revision history hosted somewhere with a bigger footprint
(sourceforge/github). What is the state of LibXML maintenance? 

(I realise
that maintenance of LibXML/LibXSLT are best-effort and limited to
spare-time but as someone who's relying on these tools I would rather
ensure the preservation of the project before it is a dim memory and
passwords forgotten for those involved ...)
