http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645 would allow you
to monitor where the library is being looked for. I also note that in
some of your mails you make it look in the "bin" directory for libxml2,
but generally the link library would be in some "lib" directory, in any
case you need to tell the compiler where the .lib file is (files are, if
you also link to zlib and so on).
