Well, if we can trust hg-git: http://hg-git.github.com/ , then we can use 
both. :-) I prefer Mercurial over git naturally.

In any case, I'm going to tag and upload XML-LibXML-1.71 and then will close 
the relevant bugs. My signature quote is relevant this time.
