Hi All,

I wanted to drop a quick note to say that I’ve finally completed my project to re-write the pike module repository website [1] (after a mere 8 year delay and 15 years after its original debut). It’s now a proper web application and lays the groundwork for new features that I’ve got in mind. The new site should look and work mostly the same as the previous version, though I did not make an effort to retain the existing link format, so any saved urls will likely break.

Since everything is relatively self-contained, it should also possible to set up private repositories or mirror the dataset for use on non-internet-connected networks. The source code is also publicly available [2].

I’ve still got some TODO items on the list but things should be at least, if not more solid than they were before. If you happen to notice any problems or suggestions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

As always, comments and suggestions are welcome!

Bill
