Upgrade to a newer XCode or use the gcc compiler (not the gcc frontend for LLVM) if you have it installed. I don't recall exactly which LLVM version is the minimum but I seem to recall that 5.3 (?) is ok. Current is 6.0 as used on 10.9. One quick fix is to cd into the build directory, copy the failing compile line but switch "gcc" for "gcc-4.0" (or whatever alias you have for the non-LLVM gcc) to compile multiset.c and then cd back and run "make" to build the remaining parts. I did that frequently when I found that gcc was better on average than LLVM in earlier versions. Both compilers produce .o files that are linker compatible. -- Jonas
