Wow - I just discovered that, as a 'side-effect' of commit

4bac7e77ee9b720b5f00aade614a36d0f748e2c4 (Removed support for mmx.h)

the special 'enable memory debugging in OpenBSD by default' has been 
kicked our as well! This has been a pain for quite some time (yea, I 
know I should have complained ...).
