SUSE open build service

hi,

i noticed that there are/were some attempts to use the SUSE open build service
to build pike packages:

https://build.opensuse.org/
https://build.opensuse.org/search?search_text=pike

it can build packages not only for SUSE, but also for Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu
and other distributions, all from same source.

has anyone considered to use OBS to submit official packages to the various distributions?

OBS is being used by some for official packages for different distributions
including debian, so it can be used to help us get pike into more distributions
while reducing any duplicate work necessary.

most of the above listed builds are not maintained, (only one was updated as
recently as 3 months ago) so it would take some renewed effort, but i believe
it would be worth it.

greetings, martin.
