I will love to see support for wxWidgets, but there are only 4 months between 
now and your propose month for 1.0 release (10/2004).  Do you think, this 
will be accomplished within this timeframe?  You should also look at 
pythoncard and wax (both are wrapper to wxPython) since wxPython is overly 
complicated than needs to.
