IMPORTANT - Feature decision deadline on 7/14

In order to speed up this feature decision process, I've picked 11 of the
remaining 19 features under consideration and made tenative decisions on
their future.  On July 14th (next Tuesday), I will act on those decisions on
any features that have not had their decsision challenged.  In the week
following I will do the same for another batch.  We have to get all of them
decided within a few weeks from now.

If you disagree with any of the decisions below speak up NOW.
