I'm going to give parrot a serious look-see as an APR replacement. I would never consider it except that I have been working on Prothon for 8 months now and I have no other programmers helping out with the main development. This would be a way to indirectly get help, especially with libraries. My biggest concern is with the objects, but maybe I could beef up their objects and keep them compatible.
