I certainly believe you think you have it covered.  The locale issue
will eventually raise its ugly head.  You may be able to resolve
that by planning for what you will do then, but not doing it yet.

I do think that leading by example and having the standard library
coded well, as well as the tutorials/documentation will be the
thing that goes the furthest.  When people start learning the
language, that is what they will copy.  It may also give you
ideas on making it easier.
