Frankly, developers are a pretty cynical bunch. Don't promise anything
you can't deliver in, say, the next 6 months. Develoeprs have heard of
too many 'miracle' technologies, and they'll buy and large tune you
out when you start talking about where the language is going to be 2
or 3  or 5 years down the road. Promise them what you reasonably can,
and you may ignite some interest. Push too hard, and they'll by and
large ignore you as a quack pushing snake oil.
