They did have to be nice since I was sitting right there but I did really
appreciate the respect everyone gave me.

Really?  He left my talk half-way thru so I thought he was pissed off to see
his language being destroyed. :-)  Later Lilly told me had a flight to
catch.  We had discussed it a lot the night before though.

I want to thank you. If it weren't for your workshop I wouldn't have met
you, Guido, Dave Ascher and everyone.  I also gained a little insight into
Python, hearing so much about it from everyone.

I also want to thank you for your guidance, even if you are making me put
aside seven months of hard work and go work on the dark side. :-)  (I'm
going to keep giving you **** about it for some time.  Sorry.  Someone has
to take the fall for this and it might as well be the messenger.)
