I suspect that microsoft won't sue Novell:

1) The legal climate, especially in Europe, is not conducive for Microsoft
to sue.

2) If you were a Microsoft salesman, wouldn't you find it easier to convert
a Linux box to a Microsoft box if that Linux box was running a website
already written in C# and ASP.Net?  Don't forget that in the webserver
market Microsoft is the minority player right now, not the leader.
