Mark,
  How about asking community to see whether anybody interested in 
python2prothon implementation, so you continue to your path of prothon 1.0 
interpreter. By having tasklet, object locking, prosist and prototype, people 
can do wonderful things which they can only dream of in other languages. By 
having this feature available  in a lang. ASAP people will start developing 
libraries.
