Modern Fortran (2018) is not your grandfather's Fortran. In fact a lot of Fortran 77 isn't even legal Fortran 2018 any more. It can be quite clear for vector and matrix operations. Has anyone had any experience linking ISPC (Implicit SPMD Program Compiler, IntelĀ® ISPC User's Guide) with R? Did it help?
