Re: path.expand fails on some windows platform

Windows support is going to be a little stretched for a while, since 
Tomáš Kalibera's passing.  If Ivan's patch doesn't fix the issue you're 
having it would be worth commenting in the bug report.  If you can't 
test it, that would be worth mentioning here.
