Personally, the main forum is too busy. I get sucked into the various discussions, lacking the willpower to put it aside. I simply waste time that I cannot afford to waste. Clearly, that is my burden, but the NUG has provided a solution to that. I will hang on, difficult or not. How ever difficult, that is small pain compared to the squandered time on the forum. Those of us left here are kind of the last survivors. Sure, not much goes in but it’s interesting traffic sometimes. When I do need something I do generally go to the forums. But if Xojo had to move servers, if it’s such a hassle, then why don’t you guys just kill it? That’s my point. Instead you move to some email list sever platform that doesn’t operate like any platform I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been on a list sever that doesn’t send you a copy of your own post (or give you the option of it). I’ve never seen one that includes a different URL to unsubscribe in each email. I’ve never seen one that doesn’t provide a digest option. Who sold you guys a bill of goods on this list sever? Why you moved away from mailman, I have no idea but that’s a great open source platform that most lists use. I’ve been on internet lists for longer that many Xojo users have been alive! > > So maybe I turn the tables on Xojo - if you don’t want us on here, then just kill the list! But you guys just decided to make the list a nasty, ugly thing and make it die of attrition. That way there’s no guilt about shutting it down on us. > > unsubscribe <http://email.lists.xojo.com/u/eJwNyzsOwyAMANDThI2IGBPsgQHS9h4U3J9EIrVIuX5Zn_RqAKoLqXewHpJHumhzdUnjjTYdDUZt0-BIzjHihKblMpejqVdYPYBbiQW8PBasVko1YOVegYBB1Dec-bnLJzfmMccq-dfnXbrqYYL4B7UfIf8> To unsubscribe, email [email protected]
