It always be the case.

 

You do not know just because you always use the default values.

 

But this have some troubles: if you have external hard disks, you better backup its contents and reformat it Case Sensible.

 

Why ?

At data copy from / to both disks, you winn fall into… two files with the same nase (the difference is in the Case Sensitive…) and macOS will not be able to write two files with the same name …

 

I experimented that.
